Finally, a Linux event scheduled for the Tucson area. While there may not be as many people in and around Tucson that use a Linux distribution as there are in Phoenix, there are a bunch of us. The Linux workshop scheduled for 28 March from 1-5 P.M. at the Wheeler Taft Abbett Library, 7800 N Schisler Dr,Tucson, AZ 85743 may be a step toward organizing a Southern Arizona Linux User Group. You don’t have to have a Linux distro on your computer, use a Linux system, or even have knowledge of what Linux is. Come out and learn about Linux and Free Open Source Software. Meet some Linux operating system users. Have your questions answered. Learn how to install a Linux Operating System or perhaps have it done for you.
